AgWeather IPM Apple Disease Product
Description
The IPM Apple Disease Product provides weather and disease information to help apple growers manage disease infestations. Information about three common apple diseases is provided; scab, fire blight, and sooty blotch. The disease models assess how favorable weather conditions are for each disease and how severe each disease may be.
Growers are encouraged to monitor and report apple phenology (green tip, blossom, and petal fall) to ensure greater accuracy of the product. Growers also automatically receive SkyBit's frost/freeze warnings during the spring and fall as part of their subscription to this service.
